Digital Artefacts. Snaps of glitches and surreal scenes in iOS Maps in 3D mode. This project started out of complete apathy. I was bored, depressed, lying on the couch browsing iOS Maps for lack of anything else to do. Just checking different cities in the amazingly cool 3D mode. I stumbled on the first image below, the "plateau" in the middle of a city street. I thought "haha, that's messed up! But wait, it looks kinda cool.. I'll take a screenshot". So began a period of obsessive collection of glitches and surreal scenes in iOS Maps. After some time I heard from It's Nice That, they wanted to publish my images. Then it spread quickly to sites like TheCreatorsProject, Wired, iO9 and Spiegel Online.
